I could try Lost World, but that’s slow-paced enough that the point would be lost. You can also try lowering your game’s settings to compensate. Select the custom x264 Encoder settings check box and type CRF20 into the field provided. It’s just that DolphinVR doesn’t seem to play nice with Sonic Colors, VorpX’s Dolphin profile seems to cut the resolution down a noticable amount (I guess because of the side-by-side setting in Dolphin that it uses), and I’ve got this issue with Generations. At the bottom in the video section, update the x264 CPU Preset field to Ultrafast and the Encoding Profile field to Main. Is this due to some sort of setting or anything that I can try and fix myself? I figure a Sonic game would be amazing in 3D much like a racing game. Dolphin was the first GameCube emulator that could successfully run commercial games. It had its inaugural release in 2003 as freeware for Windows. Regarding Sonic Generations, I noticed a bit of an issue with the cloud profile, with a bit of a weird visual issue above and below each object. Dolphin is a free and open-source video game console emulator for GameCube and Wii that runs on Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Android. Any ideas why something like this would happen? Strangely enough, the cutscene ended up taking place several feet to my right rather than where I was in VR. Second, I got to the cutscene where a Little Sister approaches you before realizing you’re still alive and walking away. I’ve been trying Bioshock (original, not remaster) in VorpX, and noticed a few things that I wanted to ask about.įirst off, is there any way to get the DirectVR scan to persist beyond loading screens? I end up having to redo it every time, and while it’s only a minor issue, it would be nice to know if the option is there.
